Backup Data
If you wish to save any collected tests and data and you can open the software, go to Admin Tools| Backup/Restore. Make sure the Backup Directory is set to the folder you wish to backup your data to. Enter a backup file name and click Create Backup.
RCT Software
From Control Panel| Programs and Features, choose "Rheocalc T" and click Uninstall. Follow the prompts to uninstall the program.
SQL Instance
From Control Panel| Programs and Features, choose "Microsoft SQL Server 2016 (64-bit)" and click uninstall. Follow the prompts to uninstall the SQL instance. Choose the "RHEOCALC" instance. When asked what features to uninstall, "Select All".
RCT Database
Open Windows Explorer and go to \Program Files\ Microsoft SQL Server and MOVE the "MSSQL13.RHEOCALC" folder.
Restore Data after Re-installation
If there is data you wish to restore and you were able to do a backup, open the software, and go to Admin Tools| Backup/Restore. Set the Backup Directory to the location of your backup file, select the backup, and choose Restore. You will need to restart the software after the Restore.
If you were not able to do a backup, go to the moved "MSSQL13.RHEOCALC" folder. Copy the "Rheocalc.mdf" and "Rheocalc.ldf" files from the MSSQL\DATA within the moved "MSSQL13.RHEOCALC" folder to the same location within the newly installed "MSSQL13.RHEOCALC" folder.
